FREE Connection to a Natural Gas Meter worth up to £750

The ‘FREE CONNECTION to a Phoenix Natural Gas Meter’ Offer is available to new domestic homeowner properties where Phoenix Natural Gas will arrange to connect the property for the first time to the natural gas network and install a meter, currently worth up to £750. Customers can avail of this offer in conjunction with any incentive offer listed in this booklet.

Terms & Conditions

  1. In these Conditions the expressions “this Offer” means the ‘Free Connection to a Phoenix Natural Gas Meter’; “Qualifying Property” means a privately owned domestic dwelling where the curtilage of the property is not more than 50m from the nearest connectable main; “Phoenix” means Phoenix Natural Gas Limited, having its Registered Office at 197 Airport Road West, Belfast BT3 9ED.
  2. Phoenix Natural Gas will arrange to supply and install a meter to a Qualifying Property up to 42 days from the date a completed Phoenix Gas Connection Agreement is received. The final meter and service connection date under these offers will be May 10th 2008.
  3. The meter installed will be located no further than 50m from the nearest connectable main or greater than 2m along the gable wall of the property. The location of the service pipe must have at least 1 metre clear distance from any property. In all instances the location of the meter within each Qualifying Property shall be determined by Phoenix Natural Gas.
  4. Customers shall allow Phoenix Natural Gas and its employees, agents and sub contractors access to the Qualifying Property to install the gas service and meter.
  5. Where a connection is to be made to a dwelling which is not a Qualifying Property (as per Condition 1 above) Phoenix Natural Gas shall be entitled to charge a fee, at the standard prevailing rate, for all connection costs and pipe work (including the cost of laying the service pipe work).
  6. In the event of flatted properties or those on ‘private’ roads it may be necessary for the customer to provide Phoenix with a Wayleave agreement, prior to the start of construction, in order that provision of a gas supply can be made available.

Summer 2008 Cash Back Offer - £100

Terms & Conditions

  1. In these Conditions the “Offer” means the Summer 2008 Cash Back Offer whereby the customer will receive £100. The cash back will be paid against the gross price of the natural gas central heating installation; and “Phoenix” means Phoenix Natural Gas Limited having its Registered Office at 197 Airport Road West, Belfast BT3 9ED.
  2. This offer is subject to a technical survey by a company registered with Corgi (who is also registered with Phoenix’ to offer the Summer 2008 Cash Back Offer).
  3. ‘Phoenix’ will not accept liability for any equipment installed or quality of work performed by any Installer. Any agreement made, even with regards to the acceptance of this offer, is between the customer and his/her appointed installer, including any financial transactions.
  4. To obtain the Summer 2008 Cash Back Offer:-
    1. The company registered with Corgi (who is also registered with Phoenix’ to offer the Summer 2008 Cash Back Offer) must discount the customer’s final invoice by £100 and claim this amount from ‘Phoenix’ within 42 days of the meter installation date.
  5. This offer can be used with the ‘Free Connection to a Natural Gas Meter’ and the ‘Flexible Paymment Scheme’ offers but cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer made available by Phoenix from time to time.

Summer 2008 Carbon Reduction Bonus Offer - £225 Extra Cash Back

The Summer 2008 Carbon Reduction Bonus Offer is available to customers installing natural gas central heating in properties built before April 1st 1998.

Terms & Conditions

  1. In these Conditions the “Offer” means the Summer 2008 Carbon Reduction Bonus Offer whereby the customer will receive £225. The cash back will be paid against the gross price of the natural gas central heating installation; and “Phoenix” means Phoenix Natural Gas Limited having its Registered Office at 197 Airport Road West, Belfast BT3 9ED.
  2. The Summer 2008 Carbon Reduction Bonus Offer can only be used in conjunction with the Summer 2008 Cash Back Offer.
  3. This offer is only available to customers who own and occupy a property constructed before April 1st 1998 in which natural gas central heating is being installed.
  4. To obtain the Summer 2008 Carbon Reduction Bonus Offer:-
    1. The company registered with Corgi (who is also registered with Phoenix’ to offer the Summer 2008 Carbon Reduction Bonus Offer) must discount the customer’s final invoice by an additional £225 (making £325 in total) and claim this amount from ‘Phoenix’ within 42 days of the meter installation date.
  5. This offer can be used with the ‘Free Connection to a Natural Gas Meter’, Summer 2008 Cash Back Offer and the ‘Flexible Payment Scheme’ offers but cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer made available by Phoenix from time to time.

Install Now, Pay Nothing for 12 Months

Terms & Conditions

  1. ‘Install Now, Pay Nothing for 12 Months’ is only available in conjunction with the ‘Free Connection’ and ‘Winter 2008 Half Price Boiler (£300 Cash Back)’ offers. It cannot be used with any other incentives available from Phoenix from time to time.
  2. ‘Install Now, Pay Nothing for 12 Months’ must be agreed with a Corgi installer (who is registered with Phoenix to offer ‘finance’ incentives). Not all installers are able to offer ‘finance’. Contact Phoenix for a list of those able to do so.
  3. ‘Install Now, Pay Nothing for 12 Months’ is available to persons aged 18 and over subject to status. A full credit check will be undertaken.
  4. ‘Install Now, Pay Nothing for 12 Months’ option is available on central heating connections only. This offer must be agreed by a qualified Phoenix Natural Gas Installer, who is signed up to this offer. Available to persons aged 18 and over and subject to status. A full credit check will be undertaken. No deposit required. Typical Example: Cash price £2,520, no deposit. Settle the loan in full by repaying £2,520 plus an administration fee of £45 within 12 months of the date of the agreement. If the loan is not settled within 12 months of the date of the agreement, then pay 36 monthly instalments of £132.43. Total charge for credit £2247.48. Total amount payable £4767.48.
